CTeLearning.com Offers Fully TEKS-Aligned Intro to Web Technologies Curriculum Online

August 6, 2020

CTeLearning.com is proud to offer an Introduction to Web Technologies course that is in full alignment with Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) course standards.

To help the course appeal to all Texas students, we take a project-based learning (PBL) approach and use exciting projects where students create web games, apps and sites to apply their learning. Web games, apps and sites have exploded in popularity, and this course prepares middle school and high school students to explore web technologies as a potential career pathway.

Jeff, one of the high school teachers who teaches the Web Technologies course, says “The course puts students in an exploration mode where they’re able to explore and figure out what they’re interested in. I have had students take the course and realize they really enjoy it. Some begin thinking of going in that direction as a career once they graduate, and having these types of online courses makes it easier for me to help them.”

Jeff went on to discuss the experience working with the CTeLearning.com team: “Steve and the team were very helpful when all this COVID stuff went down. They had me set up with my classes in a day or two, so I could offer that class online instead of trying to piecemeal it together. And that was really great.”

In the age of COVID-19, schools are looking for alternate ways to keep students engaged and on the path to success. Introduction to Web Technologies is the perfect course for ensuring students continue to learn seamlessly and without interruption.

Do you want your students to obtain industry credentials to help kick-start their careers and add more value to their career pathways? Don’t forget to check out the international industry-recognized certification this TEKS aligned course prepares students for.
