$500 – $5000 Certification Grants Made Available to CTE Programs

WebProfessionals.org, a not for profit organization for the global web design and development community, has announced certification grants for web students and teachers in the U.S at no cost to the students or schools .

Career Opportunities and COVID

CTeLearning.com is a proud online curriculum development partner of WebProfessionals.org. A number of endorsed CTeLearning courses offer these international industry-recognized certifications (IIRC) provided exclusively by WebProfessionals.org.

The Value of Industry-Recognized Certifications

These certifications are valuable credentials for students to demonstrate to potential employers and clients their skills and knowledge base. Earning IIRCs at the secondary level raises student career awareness, college and career readiness, and academic performance and self-esteem.

Courses and Certifications Online and Remote Learning Friendly

We do not know what the 2020-2021 school year will be like. Nobody truly knows whether we will have a stable year in the classroom or will be dealing with rolling quarantines and a mix of in-class and remote learning, or hybrid learning

These certifications and their endorsed courses are completely PC, Mac and Chromebook enabled. Only schools seeking the Web Animation certification will need to have students use a PC or Mac (due to the Adobe Animate requirement). However, all of the other IIRCs listed above and their partner courseware are 100% PC, Mac and Chromebook ready with nothing to download on the device, so there is zero footprint.

Teaching CTE during COVID

The adopted endorsed courses and certification exams can be taught in the classroom, online, or as a combination in a remote learning setting. Students can learn and progress in the courses and earn the certification exams from anywhere, even in the comfort of their own home. With COVID-19 impacting learning in the traditional classroom , these courses and certifications are a great way to keep your students engaged during the pandemic.

Certification Grants for Schools During COVID

If you are a teacher, curriculum director, CTE director or administrator interested in exploring how your high school or tech program can benefit from these certification grants, contact us today at  COVIDgrants2020@ctelearning.com     .

We would like to thank the professionals at WebProfessionals.org and their management team for making these grants available.

Grants range from $500- $5000 per school. The pool of certification grants is limited and available for the 2020-2021 school year.
