iWD Web Design Course with Industry Certification receives UC a-g Approval

Steve Waddell • September 17, 2016

Thank you to the  Regents of the University of California  for the news that our  iWD Web Design with Industry Certification Course has received their  UC a-g approval . This course is special to our team as it was our first fully platform agile course we built. In particular, this course allows the students to not only complete this UC a-g STEM designated course using a Chromebook, iPad, Mac, PC, Android . But they can also sit for and receive an industry certification using a Chromebook, Mac, or PC. The industry exam can proctored at their own school – so no travel worries or expense. California is one of our first adopter states. We love that now our client schools can deliver an a-g approved course, get students industry credentials, and do it all with a device as popular as a Chromebook.

We are having a terrific year. We appreciate all our California schools for allowing us to be a part of the educational experience they are giving their learners. The feedback from them and all our customers helps us to continue to grow and improve all that we do.

Our team cannot be more excited for this announcement from California.  Five UC a-g’s – Fantastic, Wow, (please insert your own superlative here)  – Awesome work team.  – Steve
