Give Your Students Real-World Experiences
Many schools have trouble helping their students land internships–even unpaid ones. Our work-based learning model allows students to experience the real world while in class and under the supervision of their CTE teacher. This model allows students to apply what they are learning in class in real-time. The project for the client is made real through a first-person simulation. All the academic, technical, and soft skills your students are learning are made contextual.
Our practicum model is already supporting students across Texas who are getting experience while still in school. We do this through our curricula that feature interviews with industry professionals. For example, William Rodriguez’s students at Manor New Technology High School are working through our Web and Computer Animation curriculum. The industry professionals in the course provide credibility about what the students are learning, and some of William’s students who have earned the Web Animator certification have landed internships with animation studios in the area.
The global economy has changed drastically in just the last few years, and our work-based learning model prepares your students to succeed in the professional world. Help “future-proof” your students so that they are ready to take on new challenges after school, whether in further educational opportunities or professional endeavors.
